ISTD: Design Museum

You are asked to propose a new typo/graphic identity for the museum that includes print, screen and environmental applications (inc. logo and signage), together with typographic guidelines that reinforce the value and power of design from the inside out. Be ambitious with your thinking and fanatical with your craft. You are uniquely positioned to see the museum in a fresh way – without any historical baggage or peer-group pressure that may bias the thinking of more seasoned designers. Exploit this, and help bring design (and the museum) into the heart of the 21st Century.

Creating a flexible graphic and typographic system allows the diversity of each exhibition to shine through whilst staying on brand.
