Brand Identity

In creating the brand identity for Vera, I aimed to elevate the brand and establish a distinctive presence in a competitive market. Drawing from Gemma Stanley’s striking, handcrafted creations inspired by the grandeur of the Medieval period, I sought to reflect both the artistry and craftsmanship of that era while positioning Vera as a unique, modern jewellery brand.

To capture the regal essence of the Medieval era, I selected a blood red colour palette, symbolising the richness and royalty of the time. The wordmark was crafted to be timeless and elegant, evoking a sense of grandeur that complements Gemma’s bespoke pieces.

A distinctive brand symbol with subtle Medieval influences was designed to reinforce the brand’s heritage and artistry. The design system focuses on typography, using type as a key visual element to further enhance the brand’s refined and artisanal identity. This cohesive approach ensures Vera stands out with a sophisticated and memorable presence in the jewellery market.
